I came in to have a bubble in the sidewall inspected to see if it should be covered under warranty. The people in the front office told me their technician saw signs that it was caused by a pothole impact and therefore not covered under warranty. I got the feeling they were just trying to dismiss me, maybe because I didn't buy the tire from them. I talked to the tech who did the inspection when he brought my car around, and that's when it became clear that the front office staff were lying about the technician's inspection. He said he didn't see any signs of an impact and couldn't say whether it was from a pothole or from a manufacturing defect. I came in towards the end of the day (45 minutes before closing), and everybody has bad days. Maybe I just caught them on one of theirs, but this was my one and only experience with them so it's hard for me to give them the benefit of the doubt.
